PROJECT OVERVIEW

At Pots and Plants Kenya, we pride ourselves on transforming spaces with greenery, and our project at the Africa Energy Forum 2024 was no exception! Tasked with bringing natural beauty to one of the most influential gatherings in the energy sector, we curated, styled, and installed over 400 plants to enhance the event’s ambiance and create a lush, welcoming environment for all attendees.

Bringing the Forum to Life with Greenery

For this high-profile event, we knew we had to create a memorable setting that combined elegance and functionality. The brief called for a variety of plants, from smaller accents to larger, striking pieces that complemented the forum’s theme and venue layout. After careful planning and collaboration with the event organizers, our team selected a blend of plants that offered texture, color, and height.

Our Pots & Planters

Our Plant Selection:

• Succulents/Roses – We placed small potted succulents & roses as center pieces in all meeting rooms and conference tables to add a splash of color and elegance, creating intimate, fresh touches for smaller gatherings.
• Medium-Size Greens – Around the lounges and networking areas, we included plants like peace lilies ,Ferns, Ficus, monsteras and philodendrons adding warmth and making these spaces feel inviting and comfortable.
• Big Plants – To make a bold statement, we installed big pants such as Palms, Giant bird of paradise and Rubber plants among others  at key locations, such as entrances and stage backdrops, to create a striking focal point. These stunning, tall plants added grandeur and a sense of tropical vitality.

Execution and Results

The project was not only about plant selection but also about flawless execution. Our team handled every detail, from sourcing and transporting the plants to styling and setting up each one according to the event’s vision and layout. We took into account the lighting and foot traffic in each area, ensuring that every plant looked its best and thrived throughout the event.
